Daily conditioners are good for hair maintenance and for detangling. Deep Conditioners are vital for problem hair. They moisture and strengthen and make hair more manageable. The worse shape your hair is in and the more damage you have, the more often you should use this product. For most people with "normal" hair deep conditioning a couple of times a month should be sufficient. But if you happen to have unruly and dry hair like I do, use it at least once a week. Leave it in for 15-20 minutes with a plastic cap on top so the heat can penetrate. For really curly, permed, straightened or relaxed hair or if you blow dry your hair every day, a deep conditioner is a must.
Just remember moisturized hair always looks and feels healthier and sexier!!
Tips
- You can also use things in your own home as deep moisturizers. Mayonnaise works real well and so do eggs. Just be sure to rinse real well with cool water, not hot or warm water.
- Coconut oil or jojoba oil can also be used as a natural deep conditioner. If you have oily hair to use it only on the ends of your hair.
